Cantilever Gates

Cantilever gates are the ideal solution for residential and industrial properties alike. With no rollers or wheels touching the ground, they are a much quieter alternative to a sliding gate and are totally unaffected by snow or uneven ground such as gravel and cobbles. As they are suspended above the driveway using a counterbalance, there is no need for major groundwork during installation. In addition, their longer operational life and attractive design make them a reliable and practical choice. A concrete pad needs to be built at the opening side of the gate on to which roller carriages are bolted and the gate itself needs to be wider than a standard sliding gate to provide the weighted counterbalance that is required. With this in place, the single-leaf gate can then be powered by a motor to open and close horizontally to the side of your entrance.
